The Law Enforcement field is really such an amazing thing. You protect and serve the city/county that you work for. You work for yourself and for the people. You are the reason that there is change within your department, and why you inspire others to do the same. The Law Enforcement field is such a great opportunity for people that truly want to make a difference. I personally want to become a Police Officer in the city of Wausau. I want to be able to help people and make others feel good. In order to become a Police Officer you are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.0, a 2 year degree in law enforcement(or 4 year college degree) and complete the Police Academy. This is my first option within the work force and I do not plan to give up. This is a good career option for anyone who is interested in helping and serving their community.
